At Carter Financial Management, serving our community is just as important as serving our clients. On Friday, March 27, our team stepped away from the office for our annual Spring Charity Day, dedicating our time to volunteer at a senior center operated by Catholic Charities of Dallas.
This organization holds a special place in our hearts, particularly as our own Kathy Muldoon currently serves as Chair*. Supporting an organization that means so much to one of our own made the day even more meaningful.
Our mission was simple but impactful: to create a more welcoming and enjoyable outdoor space for the seniors who visit the center. Throughout the day, our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work—refreshing landscaping areas, replenishing rocks in drainage spaces, power washing and restriping concrete, and giving picnic tables a fresh coat of paint.
By the end of the day, the transformation was clear. What was once a worn outdoor space became a brighter, more inviting environment where residents can gather, relax, and enjoy peaceful moments outside.
Opportunities like this remind us how fortunate we are—not only to work alongside one another, but to be supported by clients who make it possible for us to step away and give back.
Your trust in us allows our team the time and flexibility to serve our broader community, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
We believe that strong communities are built through service, and we are proud to play even a small part in making Dallas a better place for all.
