Carter Financial Management is proud to celebrate the enduring legacy of our beloved colleague and friend, Becky Bell, through the establishment of the Becky Bell Scholarship of Financial Planning at Texas A&M University.
The endowment for this scholarship has now been fully funded, ensuring that Becky’s passion for mentoring and supporting future financial planners will continue to inspire generations of students to come.
On October 2, 2025, at the Texas A&M Financial Planning Conference Awards and Recognition Banquet, the first-ever recipient of the scholarship, Valery Lopez Duron, was honored.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Valery and look forward to watching her achievements unfold as she carries forward the same dedication and enthusiasm for helping others that Becky embodied throughout her career.
Becky’s legacy lives on—not only in the lives she touched personally, but now also through the opportunities this scholarship provides for aspiring financial planners at Texas A&M University.
