On April 22, 2025, Bill Carter had the pleasure of attending the retirement celebration of David Strege—a trusted friend, esteemed colleague, and fellow longtime member of the Capstone Study Group.
David is widely known for building one of the most successful financial planning firms in the Midwest. His career has been marked not only by professional excellence but also by his steadfast leadership and service to the financial planning profession. Over the years, David has generously shared his insights and wisdom, earning the respect and admiration of peers across the country.
For Bill, the relationship with David goes far beyond professional ties. The two have shared many meaningful moments, particularly their time spent fishing together at the farm in Texas—one of David’s favorite pastimes.
