Carter Financial Management is pleased to welcome Anna Winslow as one of our summer interns. Anna is a Global Studies major in the Texas A&M University Class of 2027, with double minors in Hospitality and Tourism Management and French. She is also pursuing a certificate in Financial Planning.
At Texas A&M, Anna is already actively involved in the financial planning field. She works as a grader in the Financial Planning Department and recently had the opportunity to travel abroad with fellow financial planning students and the department’s Director, Nathan Harness. During
the trip, the group met with several organizations, including Dimensional Fund Advisors, RevCap, Maseco, the London Metal Exchange, Cockpit, and others.
Through these meetings, Anna gained a broader understanding of how financial services and business operations work outside the United States. The experience offered valuable insight into London’s role as an international hub for finance, including key areas such as the City of London and Canary Wharf.
In addition to the professional learning opportunities, Anna and her group visited several iconic locations throughout England, including Bath, York, Stonehenge, Cambridge, Oxford, and Blenheim Palace. The trip gave her the opportunity to experience the country from both a cultural and business perspective.
Anna is also involved in a women’s organization at Texas A&M, where she has served as a leader and role model for new members. Through that experience, she has strengthened her leadership skills and gained valuable perspective she hopes to carry forward in her career.
We are excited to have Anna with us this summer and look forward to supporting her as she continues exploring the financial planning profession.
