At Carter Financial Management, community service is more than a value—it’s something we actively practice. On July 24, 2025, our entire team stepped away from our desks and into a day of hands-on service at The Salvation Army.
As the Texas heat settled in, we tackled a list of tasks to help support their mission during these sweltering summer months. We scrubbed pews and windows in the sanctuary until they shone, power washed the building’s exterior, cleaned and reorganized interior rooms, and stocked food bags for individuals and families in need.
Midday, we took a short walk to a local BBQ spot for a well-earned team lunch—and to support a nearby small business. Refueled and rehydrated, we headed back to The Salvation Army and finished the day restocking their food pantry so it would be ready for the next group of volunteers.
Giving back as a team not only strengthens our community—it strengthens us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and proud to support the important work being done by The Salvation Army.
