Carter Financial Management is proud to announce the recipient of our 2025 Scholarship Award: Karla Gutierrez.
Karla’s accomplishments are nothing short of inspiring. Upon graduating from high school, she had already earned an Associate of Science degree from Dallas College—an impressive academic achievement in its own right. She balanced this rigorous course load while working two part-time jobs and holding an active leadership role within her school. Her dedication, time management, and drive truly set her apart.
This fall, Karla will continue her educational journey at the University of Texas at Austin, where she plans to major in biology and minor in political science. Her academic interests and career aspirations speak to a bright future ahead.
As a first-generation college student, Karla is breaking new ground for her family and serving as a role model for others who dare to dream big.
