Carter Financial Management is pleased to welcome Cinthya Proye as one of our summer interns this year. We are excited to have her with us as she continues building valuable professional experience before completing her coursework at Texas Tech University.
Cinthya is an accomplished and driven student who has already demonstrated strong leadership, initiative and a commitment to personal and professional growth. Most recently, she attended the NACURH 2026 Conference, one of the largest student-run organizations in North America focused on leadership, student engagement and advocacy for residence life.
As a student at Texas Tech, Cinthya is part of NACURH’s Southwest region. Earlier this year, she was elected as the incoming Coordinating Officer for Presidential Relations, a role that will allow her to support student leaders across the region, serve as a liaison between regional and
national leadership, and assist with organizational leadership engagement, budgeting and upcoming conferences.
Through her involvement with NACURH, Cinthya has gained meaningful insight into nonprofit operations, including the financial and legal aspects of running an organization. She has also developed experience in conference budgeting, funding, sponsorships, financial accountability and professional communication.
We are grateful to have Cinthya as part of the Carter Financial Management team this summer and look forward to supporting her as she continues to grow, learn and prepare for the next chapter in her career.
